The Kansas City Coalition for Digital Inclusion (KCCDI) is an open, collaborative group of organizations who foster digital equity and access to technology for Kansas City metro communities. KCCDI meets monthly on the first Friday of every month to hear about the work of local digital inclusion practitioners, and share information about upcoming opportunities in the digital inclusion space.

KC Digital Drive will provide an overview of the Digital Ambassadors Program with insights from organizations who served as host sites.

AI has made it increasingly more challenging to determine what is real and what is fake, especially for people who are new to using technology. Dr. Hyunjin Seo, director of the KU Center for Digital Inclusion, will cover the basics of information literacy and how to distinguish between genuine and AI-generated content.
Jay Leipzig, director of Planning, Housing and Community Development, and Diane Wicklund, senior planner, for Johnson County will present about their recently approved Broadband and Digital Access Plan and the County’s role in ensuring digital access in Johnson County.
