Our first presentation looks at triage. On-Call Hub is a platform that reduces healthcare burnout for both physicians and nurses by supercharging triage capabilities. On-Call Hub’s technology enables fast, accurate, clinically-validated triage to patients while maintaining a connection to their primary care provider. This means that triage staff can service more calls while operating at the top of their training, and physicians are able to reclaim their nights and weekends by reducing after-hours calls up to 90%.

Our presenter will be Matt Atkins, CEO of On-Call Hub. He has been developing software for over 20 years and has been working in the triage space for the last five.

In our second presentation, we will get a chance to look at an imaging solution. MEDAviewer leverages telehealth, patient engagement, and imaging strategies by allowing patients and providers to view, interact with, and manipulate a scan in 3-D. Patients can access their medical images from anywhere simply by logging in to their record via the provider’s patient portal. They can view their scans right alongside their provider without either having to leave their home or office. MEDAview puts the patient at the center of the plan of care, lowers the barrier to patient access, and provides a more immersive touch point for collaborative patient-provider care management.

Michael Miller will be our presenter.

###
Every month, we bring together a group of health care stakeholders to learn and share about technology and innovation projects happening in the region–and occasionally related topics from outside the Greater Kansas City area. Our stakeholders include hospitals and the health care system, city and state government officials, health IT firms and other corporate partners, startups working in health and wellness, and other civic organizations. The meetings are open, though not widely broadcast. They generally happen on the last Wednesday of the month, 8:30-10:00 am.
We send out an email agenda and calendar invite to this stakeholder list, which we loosely call the Health Innovation Team. If you wish to be added to the email list, please send a note to jfitzpatrick@kcdigitaldrive.org.
