Community & Events Manager

Full-time | Kansas City, MO (Hybrid)

KC Digital Drive seeks a Community & Events Manager to design and deliver meaningful engagement experiences across our regional network. This role connects our partners, programs, and community through events, storytelling, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning and production of community events, convenings, and special content programs.

  • Supporting events by building and managing relationships with community-based organizations, civic leaders, and industry partners.

  • Supporting event communications, outreach, and marketing to strengthen event engagement across our digital inclusion and innovation initiatives.

  • Working closely with staff and partners to align events with organizational strategy, storytelling, and impact goals.

This position is ideal for someone who loves planning dynamic events, cultivating sponsors and community partners, and turning big ideas into memorable experiences.

Office Coordinator

Part-time | Kansas City, MO (Hybrid)

KC Digital Drive is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Coordinator to keep our operations running smoothly across two office locations—710 Central and the LAMP Campus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations, including scheduling, purchasing, and vendor management.

  • Coordinating meetings, board logistics, and office communications.

  • Managing basic finance and HR workflows such as expense tracking, deposits, and onboarding checklists.

  • Serving as the main point of contact for office facilities, supplies, and shared spaces.

If you’re a digital doer and multitasker who loves checklists, calendars, and helping teams stay organized, this role is for you.

KCCDI meets monthly on the first Friday of every month to hear about the work of local digital inclusion practitioners, and share information about upcoming opportunities in the digital inclusion space.

Per Scholas is here to help you with your technology problems! Come visit the Digital Services & Support Center on the first Monday of every month to help get your computer repaired. Drop ins are allowed, no registration required. Per Scholas provides software support, user training and troubleshooting, hardware diagnosis (currently cannot fix hardware damage, like broken screens or bad keyboards), Windows and Mac OS issues, and spyware removal. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us to talk about your triumphs and challenges with your fellow digital inclusion trainers in the Kansas City metro at these monthly Digital Inclusion Learning Circle meetings. We’ll spend the time getting to know one another and sharing about our work. 

Our meeting this month will be hosted by Iván Ramirez at the main headquarters of Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC) right in the heart of the Historic Northeast neighborhood. Iván will be showing us around their office and talking about the amazing work they’re doing with their EducaTech digital skills training for Spanish-speaking individuals all over the metro area, including KCMO, KCK, Gladstone, Olathe, and more. Please come with your curiosity and questions as we continue to support and raise awareness of partners doing great work to bridge the digital skills gap.
