Digital assets are becoming part of more and more conversations, but that does not mean they are easy to understand.
If you have ever heard people talking about blockchain, stablecoins, tokenization or digital asset markets and thought to yourself, “I kind of understand what they mean, but not enough to jump into the conversation,” you are probably not alone.
That is the idea behind Coffee + Clarity: Digital Assets 101, happening Monday, September 14 from 10:00a – 12:00p at The Guild.
Coffee + Clarity is for people who are curious about digital assets, people who work in industries that are beginning to bump up against them, and people who simply want a better understanding of what everyone is talking about.
The session will be led by Evan Szu, founder and CEO of Gamma Prime, who will walk through some of the basics of digital asset markets, regulation and investment tools in a way that is approachable for people who may be newer to the space.
HDAX has grown into a much broader conversation. This year, speakers and attendees will be talking about banking, energy, infrastructure, AI, real estate, freight, data centers and other areas where digital assets and emerging technology are beginning to overlap with more traditional industries.
Coffee + Clarity is a chance to build some of that context before jumping into the deep end.
We will talk through some of the terms that tend to come up, what is actually happening in the digital asset space right now and why businesses, investors, financial institutions and communities are paying attention.
Coffee + Clarity also gets you into HDAX: Digital Asset Investor Forum!
Coffee + Clarity is happening alongside the opening day of the Heartland Digital Asset Exchange (HDAX), and registration for Coffee + Clarity includes access to the Digital Asset Investor Forum on Monday.
So after the Digital Assets 101 session wraps up, attendees are welcome to stay and experience the rest of Monday’s HDAX programming.
Tuesday, September 15 is the main conference day and requires a separate HDAX ticket which can be found here.
We wanted to create an opportunity for people who may be interested in this conversation, but are not quite ready to commit to an entire digital asset conference, to still have a way into the room.
Come learn the basics in the morning. Stay for Monday. Meet some of the people working in this space. Listen to the conversations happening around you.
