Guest Exhibitors

  • Lisa Maione is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at the Kansas City Art Institute. She will share how KCAI equips their graphic design students with motion graphics skills. She will also represent Kansas City’s AIGA chapter and share the value of participating in this highly acclaimed professional organization.
  • Evan Tedlock is an Assistant Professor for Kansas City Art Institute’s Animation program. He will join Lisa Maione in sharing how KCAI helps animators learn how to use motion graphics in their work.
  • Kyle Hamrick is an experienced motion graphics designer and co-manager of KC VideoCore, a video group that meets frequently to explore all things video. Kyle is also a former instructor for the School of Motion.
  • Mary McCawley is the CEO of Digital Dreams KC. Digital Dreams is KC’s first digital art gallery, hosting real life events that fuse art and tech to build the digital arts community.
  • Brendan O’Shaughnessy is the owner and founder of Ocean & Sea, a creative branding studio. He also represents NFT Central. NFT Central is a crypto meet-up that meets monthly in Kansas City and has a growing Discord for blockchain enthusiasts. Their goal is to bridge the technology learning gap for the next digital frontier.
  • Shawn Ketchum is an Account Director at 19 Below. Shawn will share how 19 Below uses motion graphics and other graphic design solutions to meet the needs of their extensive accounts throughout the U.S.
  • Bryan Keeling is a Senior Motion Designer at 19 Below. Bryan is a Primetime Emmy nominated Designer + Motion Graphics Artist who has flourished in the design/motion graphics and production/post-production industries for the past 15+ years in Los Angeles, New York and Kansas City. During this tenure I have fashioned highly creative and unique Motion Design and Animation concepts for film, video, and web-content, for numerous broadcast, agency and corporate clients.
  • Trey Morgan is a Senior Motion Designer and Art Director at 19 Below. Trey’s childhood love of cartoons and the like has persisted to this day, inspiring him to pursue a career in motion. As motion designer/art director at 19 Below, he feels like he’s constantly getting to play with all the toys in the sandbox, from illustration to character animation to VFX.
  • Josh Hoops is the Department Chair and Associate Professor for Digital Media Communication at William Jewell College. Josh will be representing KC IMAGINE to share our interest in learning more about the talent needs of KC’s digital media firms.
