Itto Outini and Mekiya Outini
Itto Outini and Mekiya Outini are the Founding Editors of the The
DateKeepers. The DateKeepers is an international media platform committed
to ending the “It bleeds, it leads” paradigm and creating opportunities for
journalists and nonfiction writers.
Mike Sherry is the Principal for On-Point Communications LLC. He is a writer
for Kansas City media sources such as Flatland and KCPT – PBS with over 30
years of experience in journalism.
Kansas City Media Collective
Members of the Kansas City Media Collective will also be on hand to discuss
their programs and digital journalism. Members of the Collective represent
some of KC’s top media producers and publishers such as KC PBS, Flatland,
KCUR and Startland News.
