The Kansas City Coalition for Digital Inclusion (KCCDI) is an open, collaborative group of organizations who foster digital equity and access to technology for Kansas City metro communities. KCCDI meets monthly on the first Friday of every month to hear about the work of local digital inclusion practitioners, and share information about upcoming opportunities in the digital inclusion space. KCCDI meets twice monthly on the first and third Friday every month to hear about the work of local digital inclusion practitioners, and share information about upcoming opportunities in the digital inclusion space.

FEATURED CONTENT

Madeline Romious with AT&T and Jason Roth with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City will provide an overview of their collaboration for their recently opened Connected Learning Center, which offers access to high-speed internet, devices, and digital learning resources at their Thornberry Unit.

Marilyn Chappell with Exceeds Expectations will present about her financial literacy program.

Helen Beteet with Vernon Multipurpose Center will talk about their device distribution and Wi-Fi hotspot program, supported by the Kansas Office of Broadband Development (KOBD) through the ADOPT 2.0 Grant Program, with funding from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
