The Kansas City Coalition for Digital Inclusion (KCCDI) is an open, collaborative group of organizations who foster digital equity and access to technology for Kansas City metro communities. KCCDI meets monthly on the first Friday of every month to hear about the work of local digital inclusion practitioners, and share information about upcoming opportunities in the digital inclusion space. FEATURED CONTENT
Madeline Romious with AT&T and Jason Roth with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City will provide an overview of their collaboration for their recently opened Connected Learning Center, which offers access to high-speed internet, devices, and digital learning resources at their Thornberry Unit.
Triumfia Houmbie Fulks with Code Algo will give an introduction to their programs and services. Their mission is to democratize access to high-quality coding education, empowering all K-12 students, particularly Black and Brown children, to develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Goldie Owoo-Battlet with CyberCreationz will present about her programs to inspire and foster youth to engage in innovation and technology in and outside of school, as well as their parents and grandparents, from basic computer and smartphone fundamentals to internet safety and privacy.
