The Kansas City Coalition for Digital Inclusion (KCCDI) is an open, collaborative group of organizations who foster digital equity and access to technology for Kansas City metro communities. KCCDI meets monthly on the first Friday of every month to hear about the work of local digital inclusion practitioners, and share information about upcoming opportunities in the digital inclusion space. Residents living on the wrong side of the digital divide face a multitude of challenges as nearly everything has moved online. From civic engagement to education to job opportunities and much more, life is increasingly harder if you don’t have a device and the skills and internet access to be able to use it. Neighborhood associations are working at the grassroots level to help close this gap for their residents. Hear from leaders of three of these communities
