Hacking for Good in KC

Code for KC was established in 2013 as the “leave behind” of the Code for America Fellowship program. It has been a program of KC Digital Drive since 2014, and includes a network of hundreds of active civic hackers working on open-source, open-data projects that benefit the community.

An average group of 20-25 members meets every Monday night for Hack Nights to advance projects in areas of public health, public safety, mobility, economic development, entrepreneurship, sustainability, public policy, and beyond. The first Monday of each month is is in-person, with food and beverages served. Register for each Hack Night at Meetup.com, sign up for our mailing list here, and read more about our projects at codeforkc.org.
