Join the Code for KC Brigade to envision, plan and code a better Kansas City!

At Hack KC last fall, we launched seven new projects into our development pipeline. As we near the six month mark, we’re hosting a special hack night for active projects to share their progress and offer an opportunity for new team members to jump on board.

We’re excited to see more than half of these projects still going strong. If you want a sneak peek, feel free to check learn more about these projects in advance. We’ll have some short updates on other active and emerging projects as well, all of which are listed on the Code for KC home page.

Each team will give a short presentation of what problem they’re trying to address, what they’ve built so far, and how you can help. And “help” isn’t just limited to coding. We need coders, designers, community organizers, activists, and makers–anyone who wants to make a difference, meet other cool people and make a better Kansas City.

The Report Out & Recruitment Night is a showcase of great projects that are in development and new ideas that are just beginning to be developed. The projects touch every aspect of urban life in a modern city. Your abilities are needed! You are welcome to join us! You have the Kansas City spirit: Let’s roll up our sleeves, get involved, and work together to improve our metro.

We’ll have beer, soda, and light snacks on hand. Presentations will begin at 6:30 pm.
